Ultrasound Cavitation
Ultrasonic Cavitation is a nonsurgical fat removal procedure from Europe and it delivers results! Unlike traditional liposuction or a tummy tuck, there is no surgery and no anesthesia, there is no hospital stay, no time off from work and no recovery time. Many clients see immediate results and will continue to see results in the reduction of fat up to a week following the treatment. The treatment uses ultrasound cavitation technology, which allows for nonsurgical attack of inflexible fat deposits that, no matter how much you diet and exercise, never seems to disappear. Using leading edge technology it converts fat cells into liquid which can then be naturally drained by the body’s own lymphatic filtration system. Cavitation is not a method designed for weight loss. However, it is very effective to sculpt and shape the contours of the body. It is particularly indicated for the reduction of adiposity, such as “love handles”, “muffin top” and “saddle bags” that won’t go away with diet and exercise. This treatment targets problem areas without damaging the vascular system. The most common problem areas for ultrasonic cavitation are the abdomen, love handles (flanks), outer and inner thighs, buttocks, upper arms and inner knees. The Ultrasonic cavitation machine uses highfrequency sound waves to vibrate and disrupt the fat cells, which causes the fat cells to liquefy. The lymphatic system picks up this waste material (the loose fat), and begins circulating it out of the body. It is then processed by the lymphatic system and eliminated. The results are immediate, however the entire body process of fat removal can take several days, and one will continue to experience results during this time.
A low calorie diet (about 1,500 calories) is recommended in conjunction with this procedure, as is drinking at least 1.5 liters of water before and after the session. Hydration is a necessary part of the process, and it is the most effective vehicle to expedite and eliminate fat. Regular aerobic exercise that increases the heart rate is strongly suggested. Ultrasound Cavitation: 6–10 treatments spaced 12 weeks apart per specific area, and there is no “down time” with this treatment.
